Reconciling Statement
The youth group at Immanuel United Methodist Church invites, encourages, and embraces ALL youth, regardless of sexual orientation, sexual identity, gender identity, race, ethnicity, nationality, mental ability, physical ability, socioeconomic status, level of education, or spiritual maturity.
We believe that all people are created in the image of God, are the beloved children of God, and are all are worthy of God’s love and grace.
We advocate for the full inclusion of people of all gender identities, expressions, and orientations in our church and in the larger United Methodist Church and we affirm everyone’s humanity, value, and beauty in God’s eyes.
